Pictures is filled with sweet, reflective music and wonderful melodic lines - a cross between Contemporary and New Age styles. Imagine the theme to The Writer's Almanac on MPR only a little more wistful at times and a bit more melodic. The songs all seem to carry a little piece of optimism. This is a nice CD, something I can definitely see having on during quiet winter nights with the family.
